1. Manages Public Airports & Restricted Facilities:
  • 40 public use airports and nearly 400 restricted facilities (airstrips and heliports)
2. Issues Licenses:
  • Manages licensing for public use airports, heliports and other aeronautical facilities
3. Oversees the Department’s drone program
